Delhi - Mandawa

Arrival at Delhi International Airport.
Meet the representative of Indian Experience, holding the placard of your name. Greetings! Head to the land of colours, heritage and culture -Rajasthan. You’ll travel through the Indian countryside to the town of Mandawa, an “Open Art Gallery”, famed for its impressive fresco paintings, old fort and Havelis built by rich merchants and landlords.
Mandawa has a rich historical past for being an age-old part of “ The Silk Route”
Stay in the architectural jewel of the town, Mandawa Haveli. The haveli has a huge courtyard, a sprawling lawn and different rooms to provide you with a pleasurable stay experience.

Mandawa - Bikaner

Continue your journey around Rajasthan by journeying to the city of Gajner via Bikaner, also called ‘The Camel Country’. Bikaner was one of the three great Desert Kingdoms of Rajasthan. Visit Junagarh Fort of Bikaner an imposing complex in the heart of the city that exhibits 37 sandstone palaces, temples and pavilions within its walls. “Junagarh a paradox between medieval military architecture and beautiful interior decoration.”- Historians.

Bikaner - Jodhpur - Chandelao

The next stop on your trip will be Chandelao via Jodhpur, “ The Blue City” of Rajasthan and the second largest of the state after Jaipur. A guided tour will give you the chance to marvel at the 15th century UNESCO Heritage site, Mehrangarh Fort- a huge complex that sits on a 122m hill. The indigo-blue houses in the city vibrantly radiate their blue colours during the daytime. Witness a magnificent scenery formed by Blue- coloured houses, when viewed from the balustrades of Mehrangarh Fort. 
Travel for another 40 km for a quiet hamlet that long played a part in the history of Rajasthan and the Kingdom Of Marwar- Chandelao.

Today begin your guided sightseeing of Udaipur. Start the day at the imposing City Palace, a monument of Rajput and Mughal architecture. With its mahals decked with antiquities and paintings, silver and inlay work, intricate mirror work . Stroll through the Saheliyon-ki-Bari or ‘Garden of maids”, full of marble art, canopies and fountains. The Jagdish Temple is an eclectic mix of stone elephants, carved pillars, impressive spires and exuberant architecture, devoted to Lord Vishnu.

After breakfast, Leave Udaipur behind to head for Bijaipur, stopping off en-route to visit Chittorgarh - “City Of Pride and Honor!”. With Imprints of Rajputana and Sisodia dynasties' architecture, The Fort of Chittorgarh is one of the UNESCO heritage sites, built in the 7th Century AD and is remembered for the courageous self-sacrificing Jauhar performed by Rani Padmini to checkmate the seize of Chittorgarh by Alauddin Khilji.
The culinary masterpieces of the citadel are two stambhs (towers) and the Meera temple.
Drive ahead to Bijaipur.

The next site would be - Hawa Mahal, (The palace of winds). Moving ahead to the City Palace, a blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture explore its magnificent palaces, courtyards and audience halls. Jaipur - Agra

Continue journey leaving for Agra via Fateh Sikri, another UNESCO Heritage site of India, a city built in red sandstone by the Mughal Emperor Jalal-ud-din Mohammad Akbar, in honour of the great Sufi saint Sheikh Salim Chisti.

Drive for Agra, the capital city of the Mughal Sultanate in the 16th and 17th centuries is home to three UNESCO world heritage sites: the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri.

Agra - Varanasi

Get ready to visit the Taj Mahal at the break of day - witness the magical play of light rays and colours on the white marble minarets with the rising sun. Get the most spectacular hazy view of the “ TAJ” -“ A poetry in marble”- with the rising ball of fire.
When the first ray of sunlight pierce the clouds banishing frosts and mists of night, blazing in gold hits the TAJ, the translucent white marble reflects blush-hues quenched in purple, colour changes to pearly cream to yellow as of daffodil.

Taj is one of the seven wonders of the world, the monument of love that Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan gave to the world, stands as a testimony of his intense love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Varanasi

Varanasi - widely known as Banaras or Kashi, has been a symbol of the Hindu renaissance. Varanasi is associated with the promotion of spiritualism, mysticism, Sanskrit, yoga and Hindi language and honoured authors.

Taking a walk along the ghats of the Ganges is one of the most culturally rich experiences to have in India. You cannot fully experience Varanasi without gliding through the waters of the Ganga, take-off for an evening boat tour in a traditional rowboat to watch the sunset over the Ganges. Disembark to watch the aarti ceremony on the banks of the Ganges. Priests take sacred brass lamps and offer prayers to the holy river. The small flames of the lamps look like specks of light in the dark ambience.

Varanasi - Delhi

Early in the morning, before the first rays of sunlight paint the sky, catch the splendid view of Subah-e-Banaras, an event before dawn where one experiences the Ganga Aarti, enjoy Vedic chanting, morning raga and hymns. The ceremony involves lights, cymbals, scented incense sticks, and people singing and chanting verses. A tribute is offered to the five basic elements of earth, water, fire, sky and fire.

Drive to Sarnath, a microcosm of Buddhism, the place where Buddha preached his first sermon after enlightenment. 
Transport to Varanasi airport to catch the domestic flight back to Delhi.

• From 30 to 21 days: 40% of the total price of the trip.   
• From 20 to 14 days: 60% of the total price of the trip.  
• From 13 to 8 days: 70% of the total price of the trip.  
• From 7 to 2 days: 75% of the total price of the trip.  
• The day before or the day of departure: 100% of the total price of the trip

I booked a solo tour to India for Bikaner, Udaipur, Agra and Varanasi. Tour exactly fit my briefing and was completed in a matter of hours. It felt like someone from the family taking care of our destinations well in advance and ensuring me and my family had a hassle free and memorable journey all around.
Had a great time exploring Agra and Varanasi - did the sunrise boat ride followed by walking tour and an afternoon Sarnath tour followed by an evening prayer ceremony.
