Diwali- “The festival of lights”  unifies every religion, every home and every heart.
The history of Diwali can be traced back to ancient India, when Lord Rama along with Sita and Laxman, on this special day, was welcomed to the kingdom of Ayodhya, after 14 years of exile, with rows of diyas, lightened throughout the kingdom.
Indian Experience let you be a part of the celebration of the Diwali festival with their family through this Diwali festival tour to India, marked by prayer, feasts, fireworks and family gatherings. On the night of Diwali, everyone clads in new clothes, offer special prayers to Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, and Ganesha, the elephant god who represents fortune and wisdom. Arrange Oil lamps in and around the home. Indulge your tastebuds in specially crafted Diwali menus. The festival dazzles everyone with joy and celebration.

Explore the culture and rich diversity of India on Diwali as you stroll around the vibrant and colourful local markets of Agra on the night before Deepawali or admire the beauty of The TAJ beside the reflecting pool with fountains. Marvel at the beautiful structure embellished with intricate artworks and surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens of Amer in Jaipur or Mehrangarh fort that towers over the “Blue City” of Jodhpur. Watch the crimson sun setting behind the Aravalli in Deogarh or wake to the just-risen sun that shines softly on the village streets, bringing with it a flurry of early-morning activities of thousands of birds in Chandelao. Take pictures of the photogenic corners of the Udaipur city or with the tribal communities of Rajasthan.

The essence of this tour offered by Indian Experience lies in the sloka, 'Tamaso ma jyotirgamaya' which means “Lead me from darkness to light.”
.“ON THE DARKEST NIGHT,
WELCOME THE LIGHT BRIGHT…”

Hi!
We booked our honeymoon package with Indian Experience and it turned out really awesome experience, it was the festival season in India which served as icing on the cake. We spent Diwali with the Indian family of Narendra Singh and Gopika Singh, which made us fall in love with India. The trip was super amazing with such a professional and supporting staff. They made it more special by arranging us romantic dinners and boat rides in Udaipur. I would not even think twice before booking my tour with them. Lots of Love!

It was a smooth and family like experience in Rajasthan with Diwali buzz! First of all, I would like to thank the company for the wonderful touring experience along with the cultural experience of celebrating with their family. This was our first trip to India as well with a Indian tour operator and was a memorable one. Especially like to mention our tour leader Mr Narendra Singh and his family who gave a cultural bite to us as we celebrated diwali with them in a traditional Hindu way! He and his family had become friends cum family to me and my husband... I would strongly recommend the Diwali trip with your family to Jaipur.
